Private Practice Guide

Freedom

Welcome to taking the first step of your entrepreneurial dream and see what your time and skills are worth in the free market. I started my practice in 2016, building a business from the ground up. I initially started as a weekend practice, while working a full time job in a hospital, until I transitioned to working private practice full time in 2018. Along the way, I learned the business and legal side of the practice that continues to allow it to thrive.

Absolutely worth it!

My practice is in midtown New York City. I work the hours that suits me, earn a good living, and live a fulfilling life that allows me to continue to enjoy clinical work. Work is simply work, no longer mired in bureaucracy or institutional politics. By opening my own practice, I have skin in the game and know my true worth as a clinician. Private practice is the way I have found to do the work that fulfills me while making a healthy income.

What’s the worst that can happen?

I’ve helped individual practitioners open and grow their practices. Maybe you go through the process of opening a practice and ultimately decide it’s not for you. But the journey is worth it for you to test out whether this method of working is for you, because it is doable. Why not give it a shot?
